Rules for Posting/Legal stuff

Here are the rules for posting

If you sign up for this site, you will instantly receive contributors rights. This means you can post your own pictures, and your own stories.

However, there are some rules which you need to follow, and some legal stuff we need to say.

Be Polite. No swearing, or abusing either the site or other users, no rude cultural nicknames or abuse of any kind. Posts like these just won’t get posted. Likewise religious attacks. This is a cultural discussion and photo sharing site.
No porn or nude stuff. We want to keep this rated for a G-audience. Go somewhere else to post your nudey shots.
Post only good photos (that make you look good), we’ll probably just ignore snapshots and average stuff…. but if you are awesome, post your photos.
Topics: Try and keep to the theme of culture, portraits and commercial shots are nice, but maybe not so much in keeping with the theme.
Don’t post other people’s stuff. Its not kosher/ halal/ tukdong/ OK/ right or whatever language you use, its not a good thing. If however you have permission from them, go ahead, just make sure you give em credit!

A little Legal stuff

Watermark your images. People steal stuff all the time on the net, including photos. If you are at all worried about this… don’t go near the internet….. but seriously lightly watermark your images if you need to. If stuff is stolen, then you can always make your millions by suing the “borrowers”.

Copyright of all images remains with the photographer. However by posting pictures and stories here you give the right to Photoculture to use your stuff to promote the website. You can always request a deletion if you want!

If you don’t follow the rules, or don’t like the legal stuff, we will throw dead fish at you!
